After leaving high-tech, I taught literature at Notre Dame de Namur University and business writing at San Jose State University in California. Birch Lane Press published my first cookbook, and Sunset Magazine featured my entire Thanksgiving menu one holiday season.
I live with my husband and Misty, our fun-loving labradoodle, in Redding, CA. We enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking.
My creative journey is evolving. Currently, I am immersed in three projects that I can't wait to share with you:
The Viking Saxon Saga and the Stolen Mysticals is a fast-paced, middle-grade fantasy released in July 2024. You can find it on Amazon (Audible, Kindle, paperback, and hardcover), IngramSpark ( paperback and hardcover), and Barnes &Noble (paperback and hardcover.)
Twelve-year-old Terra and Torin race to their father’s rescue after a mysterious woman, cloaked in black, takes him prisoner, claiming he stole her mysticals—a shield, a book, and a key. Along their journey, the twins uncover a web of concealed identities, lies, and deception—plunging them into a dangerous world of mystery and magic.
Altered State is a YA novel with a female, neurodivergent main character who becomes an unlikely hero in her quest to bring justice to society's castaways. Due to be released in 2025.
The Multiverse Cookbook is to be released in the summer of 2024.
Helena St. George was a weekly food columnist for various San Francisco Bay Area newspapers. Her new cookbook will feature her most popular recipes from "Your Recipe for Healthy Living" and "Pleasing Picky Eaters."
